Theme of The Game

A quiet vacation in the mountains, at a cabin, turns into a fight for survival against zombies. It’s the premise behind Cabin Crashers, a new slot machine from Quickspin. It’s coming from a developer with plenty of experience, which turned this story into a fun game. There isn’t as much of a focus on the zombies as you’d expect, at least not in the slot’s symbols.

Those symbols start you off with five Royals (10 to A), followed by the Moonshine Jug, Axe, Ammo, Crocodile Trophy, Bear Trophy, and lastly, Zombie Trophy. Gravestone Wilds and Zombie scatters are going to be present on the reels as well.

How To Play It

All you need to do, to get started, is select a bet value and then click Spin. The options available range from $0.20 to $100.

The game area is standard, giving the player 5×3 reels and a total of 20 active lines. It will require 3 or more matching symbols, left to right, in order to give the player a win.

Special Features

One of the features present here, and which is not always as fun as in this case, the wild is going to also have a multiplier to apply to wins. Ranging from 2x to 5x, the boost to wins is excellent, but it’s only possible from the middle three reels. These wilds are substitutes for all regular symbols, but not for scatters.

There is a second feature symbol in Cabin Crashers, a Gravestone which serves as a scatter, and a trigger for the free spins. You get these on the 1^st, 3^rd, and 5^th reels. When they’re all present at the same time, a Grave Picker bonus triggers, and you select the version of the free spins that you prefer.

Grave 4: randomizes the number of free spins (up to 20 possible) and the wild multiplier (as high as 5x).

Regardless of the version of the free spins that you select, you will get sticky wilds, so they help out for the duration of the feature with their multipliers.

Cabin Crashers will take the zombie theme and do a great job with it, giving us plenty of risk, but will also add big top prizes that players will love going after. There is nothing truly unique about it, we’ve seen multiplier wilds before, but that doesn’t make them any less powerful.
