Theme of The Game
Inspired by the horror genre and the works of H. P. Lovecraft, Cthulhu’s story revolves around a being that is part octopus and part dragon, a creature of nightmare. It has wings, claws, and tentacles, so quite far from the kind of thing you’d want to run into at night.
For the design of this slot machine, they’ve chosen a dark atmosphere, visible both in the background image and in many of the symbols. Even though the four card suit icons are of lower value, even they look grim, thanks to the transparent background which shows us the storm from behind. The diamond comes next on that list, followed by five top-paying character symbols. Wilds will also show up on the reels, along with scatters.

Cthulhu is a joint release, from Yggdrasil Gaming and Gluck Games. Available through the YGS Masters program, it’s one of many slots that we’re seeing from smaller developers on Yggdrasil’s platform. Special Features
One of the more noteworthy symbols that can show up, is the one with the Eye of Cthulhu. It’s the slot’s wild, and it pays as much as the top symbol if it manages to form a combination with other wild symbols. The main feature would be the 10 free spins, which can be triggered when you land a set of 3 scatters on the reels. Those would be the symbols with Cthulhu in them, and marked with the creature’s name.
In this feature, you go against the apocalyptic creature, and there are some additional mechanics inside, which can be used to make the feature better from that point forward.
