WWE Legends Slot Free Play
Theme of The Game
Wrestling is big business in certain parts of the world, particularly in North America, and the WWE is the organization that organizes the shows there. Microgaming and All41 Studios have designed this slot machine as a branded title, which uses images of some of the most popular wrestlers that the World Wrestling Entertainment organization has to offer. Of course, the action is set next to the ring, with spectators visible a bit further away.
On the reels, there is going to be a selection of symbols, starting with low-paying Royals, and continuing with the four WWE stars (Steve Austin, Randy Savage, Eddie Guerrero, and Booker T. Stone Cold). A W belt wild is also used, and a Respin button is available at the bottom of each reel (more on that in the Special Features section).
The developer that actually did most of the work on WWE Legends is a small company called All41 Studios. They’re established partners for Microgaming, and they’ve launched several excellent slots on their network over the last year or so.
How To Play It
The wagers that you can place in WWE Legends have a range between $0.10 and $20.
WWE Legends is played with 25 active lines, and has 5×3 reels that will spin. A combo of 3 to 5 matching symbols gets you paid, but the symbols have to all be on the same line, and going left to right.
One of the noteworthy mechanics that were incorporated in WWE Legends, is the HyperSpins option. It uses 5 Respin buttons, placed at the bottom of the 5 reels. You get to use them individually, but you pay for the privilege. They allow you to respin individual reels, if you’re looking to get new symbols on them, in order to complete a combo that’s missing something to get you paid. The higher the potential, the more expensive it will be to respin a reel.
There will be wilds that will help you out, and they can either be substitutes for regular symbols, or they can pay when forming winning combinations with up to five of them together on a line.
A more powerful feature would be the free spins. 5 free games trigger when 3 scatters are visible on the reels. For this mode, the middle three reels are going to turn into a single huge area, where you get mega-sized symbols (occupying 3×3 positions). They can be used as 1 scatter, or as 9 regular symbols. The free spins can retrigger, but you get only 3 more rounds.
Link & Win is the streak respin feature, triggered through 6 Coin scatters. They are sticky, for the 3 respins that follow. More respins can be obtained if you land additional Coins. Other possible symbols for the new set of reels, could include Collectors (collects prizes from the Coins), Payer (boosts Coin prizes), Multiplier (adds 1x to the multiplier, which boosts all prizes), or one of the jackpot coins (three types, with the Major version paying 1,000x the stake).
If you can get the 15 positions covered by Coins, you claim the top jackpot, worth 5,000x the stake.
It’s quite the impressive game, if we go by the rewards which are possible. 25,000x the stake is the jackpot of WWE Legends, a slot machine with high volatility, but with a RTP of up to 96.40%.
WWE Legends is a fine option for someone that enjoys Link & Win respins, or for the fans of wrestling in particular. It’s a good game overall, and provided that the RTP is at a high level, everything else looks fine as an option for an experienced player.
