Cubes 2 Slot Free Play
How To Play It
$0.20 to $100 is one of the more common betting ranges you will find in slot machines, and it’s what Cubes 2 proposes as well. Pick whatever bet value works for you, the odds will be the same.
You’re going to discover a game area with 5×5 reels, which offers a Cluster Pays system, where you need groups of 5+ cubes of the same color and connected, in order to get you paid. The more there are, the bigger the wins, and 25 symbols of the same type will deliver the best rewards.
Forming clusters is great, and potentially quite profitable, but the round doesn’t stop there. A game area expansion will occur, where you go from 5×5 to 7×7 reels, and it’s all part of the same spin. Form a new cluster on the new screen, and a new expansion occurs, this time to 9×9. One last time, the game area expands, up to the maximum size of 11×11 reels.
Corner multipliers are also a thing, and this would be one of the more unique features of Cubes 2. You see them in the corner of the smallest game area, the one with 5×5 reels, taking the form of X cubes. If it’s part of a cluster, the multiplier cube will have a value that corresponds to the number of symbols which are in the group. You can have several multiplier cubes in a cluster, in which case their values will be added together.
To get 5 free spins, the game requires that you have 5+ clusters of winning symbols formed, all in a single round. You make a pick before the feature begins, and the color you uncover will become sticky when those cubes land on the reels. There is also a chance that additional free spins will be obtained at this stage (up to 12 possible).
The game area will remain at the latest size it got to, it doesn’t reset between spins, so eventually you will likely play only with 11×11 symbols. At this point, winning the top jackpot becomes more likely.
There are also additional prizes paid, when you get big enough cluster sizes with the sticky color. It’s a 500x win for 50 cubes in a cluster, 2,500x for 70, and 7,000x for 90 cubes.
It’s the type of game that can be risky to play for most players, but a few of them will get paid extremely well. The high volatility allows it to pay as much as 10,500x the stake, and the RTP of 96.30% is one that I’m satisfied with as well.
Cubes 2 is an excellent sequel, with simple graphics and advanced features which should keep players interested. Not for everyone, mostly because it’s also quite volatile, but I found it fun and easily accessible on mobile (part of the Pocketz series, for mobile devices).
