Bonus Features and Payouts

Lucy Luck and the Crimson Diamond online slot uses an All Symbols Pay design. This means you need to land 8 or more matching symbols anywhere on the 6×6 for a win to be formed. After a win lands the Avalanche feature is triggered, removing all winning symbols from the screen. New symbols drop on top to fill in all of the spaces.

As the symbols explode they can reveal tier 1, 2 or 3 Treasure Chests beneath them. Once a treasure chest is fully exposed it will open and reveal a prize in accordance to the bet size. The top prize you can win here is 10,000x the stake if the Crimson Diamond is revealed in a tier 3 chest.

Free Spins Bonus

Once a bonus symbol lands on the screen it will stay there until there are no more winning combinations on the screen. Once that happens the bonus symbol explodes and gets removed from the screen. The bonus symbol will also remove adjacent symbols from up, down, right, and left. After that, the bonus symbol is added to the meter on the left side of the reels.

You can also land a Super Bonus symbol that acts in the same way. The only difference is that it will remove all symbols around it in all directions.

Once you collect 3 Bonus symbols you trigger the free spins bonus. Here you get 10 free spins where each cleared block is transferred to the next round. When you unlock all treasure chests on the gird it resets and adds new symbols on the screen. At the same time, you get 1 extra free spin. You can also land an x1 multiplier on the reels. Once it explodes the multiplier is added to the multiplier meter. The meter will remain persistent for the duration of the feature.

You can also trigger the feature with 2 bonus symbols and a single Super Bonus symbol. This will trigger the Super bonus. It’s basically the same as the regular bonus, with the only difference being that only tier 3 treasure chests are now present on the reels. This means you have a chance to get bigger payouts and even the maximum one from the very first spin.

Comparison with Other slots

It’s hard to compare Lucy Luck and the Crimson Diamond to other slots since I haven’t come across one with the same features. If you like how the game looks I can recommend Gems Bonanza from Pragmatic Play. They both have a similar design and a somewhat similar bonus round where you progress to the next level. See which one you like better and give it a try in your next session.

Benefits and Drawbacks

Lucy Luck and the Crimson Diamond is a great game with an interesting bonus round. But what I don’t like here is that most of the time the payouts in the regular bonus are quite small. The bonus round does land often, but many times you win less than 50 times the stake. My biggest win was in the super bonus, but from all of my sessions, I’ve triggered it only once.

Overall this is a good slot that is sure to find many loyal fans. It comes with a modern design, an interesting bonus round, and the chance to land payouts of up to 10,000x the stake. This is more than enough to give the game a try, but you need to be persistent. Many players are sure to give up after some time of landing poor payouts in the feature. But I’m sure if you keep playing and keep trying you will be rewarded with a big win in one feature.
