Playing Beware the Deep Megaways slot with the Biggest RTP advantages: For this game, the designers went with a maximum RTP value of 96.54%. The minimum RTP is only 0.02% lower at 96.52%. The maximum RTP is a bit higher when the Ante Bet option is activated at 96.56%, while the minimum is the same. If you decide to buy the bonus with 4 or 5 symbols the maximum expected RTP is 96.55%, while the minimum is 96.53%. If you buy it with 6 or 7 symbols the maximum RTP is 96.54%. The minimum one is 96.51%. So as you can see there is only a slightly difference in the RTP however, when I play I will play with the Ante Bet on cause it has the highest RTP and biggest advantage.

Like most Megaways games this slot comes with 6 reels. The first and last reel can be up to 7 symbols high, while the rest up to 6. Below reels 2 to 5, there is an extra row, which spins from right to left. This design makes for up to 117,649 ways to win. The bets can go from $0.20 to $100 per spin. Activating the Ante Bet option will increase your bet size by 0.25x, but increases your chances of triggering the feature. My Own Experience Playing Beware the Deep Megaways

I have to admit that I was quite surprised to see that this slot came with a super bonus buy option. So far if I wanted to do super buys I would go to Hacksaw slots. Now I’m glad to see this option at Pragmatic Play as well. Needless to say, I instantly jumped at this opportunity since I had a big bankroll to give it a try. The first buy didn’t do so well and I didn’t even break even. The second one was better landing 300x in profit. I know this is a highly volatile slot so those mega payouts will be hard to come by. But I hope to see them on my screen in one of my next sessions.

 

Bonus Features and Payouts

The Shark is the Wild symbol in Beware the Deep Megaways. It can land only on the bottom row and will come with a win multiplier from x2 to x25 in base play. During the feature, the multiplier can go from x2 to x100.

Like most other similar slots it uses a Tumble feature. This allows all symbols that are involved in a winning combination to disappear and new ones to drop on the reels, forming potential consecutive wins.

On any spin you can also land Mystery symbols on the reels. They will all transform into a single matching symbol from the paytable.

Free Spins Bonus

When at least 4 bonus symbols hit the reels you trigger the free spins bonus, awarding 10 free spins. landing 5 bonus symbols awards 12 free spins, 6 bonus symbols for 14 free spins and 16 free spins for the maximum 7 bonus symbols. Before the feature starts you have to choose between the Deep Free Spins or the Even Deeper free spins.

In the Deep Free Spins if a bonus symbol lands on top of a Wild symbol that wild becomes locked in its position for up to 3 tumbles. A new multiplier is awarded to the Wild in each tumble. Also with each tumble, the total win multiplier increases by 1. Land another 2 to 6 bonus symbols for an extra 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10 free spins.

In the Even Deeper Free Spins feature you get an unlimited number of free spins. The starting multiplier is x15, x20, x25 or x30 depending on the number of triggering scatters. Each bonus symbol that lands on the screen increases the end multiplier by 1. The free spins end when the maximum total multiplier is reached.

As in the previous feature every Bonus symbol that lands on top of a wild locks the Wild in place for up to 3 consecutive tumbles.

To buy the Deep Free Spins you will need to spend 100x. For the Even Deeper Free Spins feature you will need to spend 250x your stake.

What I like the most about this game is the fact that you can buy a Super Bonus. This is basically an enhanced version of the regular free spins feature and it’s well worth the cost.
