The story of Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson is not exactly new, we’ve seen it told by various developers in the past, and they’ve solved a lot of crimes and mysteries along the way. We get Rabcat’s version here, and as usual we’re looking at impressive graphics and very well designed main characters.
The streets of 19th century London are shown in the background, while the reels get two main types of symbols. Some will show various Royals, designed as part of various gates and walls of the city. The others will give us the characters from the story, with Sherlock Holmes, Dr Watson, Irene Adler, Moriarty, Inspector Lestrade and the 221 Baker Street Sign.

It’s not a huge company, it doesn’t offer the longest list of slot machines around, but Rabcat is definitely a developer to pay attention to. They’re the creators of hugely successful games such as Castle Builder (1 and 2), Robin of Sherwood and other titles, some of which you will find under the Microgaming brand, as exclusive releases to their casinos.
The graphics are always on point in these games, while on the feature side I’ve mostly seen common options, though improved in order to be more interesting.
How To Play It
You see a Stake option at the bottom. It’s the amount that you wager per line, and it is always multiplied by 25, in order to get you to the total bet. As you take the Stake from $0.01 to $2, the total amount wagered chances from $0.25 to $50.

Special Features
Sherlock Holmes is the main wild symbol, the one you’re getting in the base game. Create winning combinations with it, either directly or as a substitute. If it’s the one paying you, get rewards of up to 40x total stake. As a replacement symbol, it will be useful to you quite often.
Connecting Wilds is a feature which kicks in when at least two wilds are present at the same time. The symbols found between them will be turned into wilds as well, connecting the triggering wilds.
Double Win is a feature which is triggered if exactly two wilds are visible, and they are already next to each other (consecutive columns, same row). The wins of the round will all be doubled as a result.
Bonus Spins are offered when 1 wild is present, on the reel 1 or 2. It’s a re-spin, where the wild symbol is locked.
The way to reach the free spins is via symbols marked with the feature’s name, showing both Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson. 3+ symbols will trigger 10 free spins. Expanding wilds may trigger for you here, but there are also extra wilds.
