A developer with a lot of titles under its belt, NetEnt is the one that released The Wolf’s Bane. The game appears to be inspired by another slot of theirs, called Wild Wild West, at least where mechanics are concerned. You will find a lot of slot machines with low to medium payouts and not very high risk in their collection, so casual players will enjoy what they have to offer, while those that are interested in hitting a big jackpot will, as it is often the case, stay way.
How To Play It
You’re going to be able to select a bet for a game area with 10 lines, and so naturally the betting range will start from a minimum of $0.10. This game has 10 coins for all its rounds, so only the coin denomination changes. As it does so, between $0.01 and $10, the total bet can end up at a value of $100.
You’re going to find a slot with 5 reels and 10 active lines, which is fairly normal for a game, nothing I’d call exciting. Among its features, you find the usual options as well, so it should be easy enough to figure out.
The Werewolf Wild symbol will be quite useful, a substitute which often enough will be able to help you with the creation of new combinations.
A simple bonus game is provided as well, as long as you get the required bonus symbols to appear on three reels. The pick bonus that follows has you selecting one of those symbols, and the game will deliver a prize of up to 50x total stake.
Have Full Moon scatters show up three to five times, all in a single round, and you get 10 to 30 free spins in exchange. You will get a small feature at the start, where you can randomly receive one of four potential wild features, to assist you during the free spins. It could be a spreading wild, a 2x multiplier wild, expanding wilds or regular wilds. There will be the option to retrigger the free spins, with the same three or more scatters that were used initially.
Even though it has multipliers and a lot of different features to assist you, the game will not go very high, payout wise. It’s going to offer up to 500x round’s stake back to you, meaning that you can expect a $50,000 jackpot at best.
While it doesn’t have a big top payout, the game can be forgiven for this, particularly once you find out that it has low to medium volatility. The RTP is also known, and the 96.74% which has been mentioned for it is excellent.
While not an innovative game, The Wolf’s Bane can make for a decent Halloween slot machine, and it’s perfectly decent to try out the rest of the year as well, provided that you don’t expect to get rich playing it.
