Rich Wilde and the Amulet of Dead is the latest slot machine that Play n GO released, part of a series which has an adventurer as its hero. Rich Wilde visited Ancient Egypt and South America in the past, along with other places where ancient temples might be found, along with exciting treasures.
Ancient Egypt is where we’re taken once again in Amulet of Dead, and the game ends up showing off images of The eye of Ra, of Thoth, Rich Wilde, Pharaohs, Anubis and Horus. It’s a lot less exciting looking at the five top Royals in the low paying icons, but that’s a problem that most slot machines have.

One of the feature symbols that are available to you, the Thoth Wild may be limited to just 3 of the 5 reels (2, 3 and 4), but it’s powerful enough and it can have a major impact on your rounds. Depending on how many of these stacked Thoth symbols you have fully visible, the multiplier applied to the wins will be either 2x, 3x or 5x (1, 2 or 3 wilds). As substitutes, they replace any regular symbols, including the special ones which you get during free rounds.
The other feature symbol, is a Pendant with the Eye of Ra on it. Should it land 3, 4 or 5 times, the game grants you access to 10 free spins, and a prize worth up to 200x the stake.
As you’d expect from a Book slot, the Pendant is also used as a wild, and it either substitutes for regular symbols on all reels, or it forms combinations by itself, where it pays 1,000x.
Once the 10 free spins begin, there will be a special expanding symbol, the popular Book-style mechanic which makes the genre so powerful. A single regular symbol is selected, and it gets the ability to expand and form combinations even if the reels are not consecutive.

Summary
Amulet of Dead does some things differently, introducing stacked wilds and multipliers to a category which is filled with clones of the original Book slot. Play n GO made sure to add something unique to it though, so it’s actually worth checking out.
