All of the regular symbols in Rotten including the Wild can land stacked across the reels. This makes it relatively easy to land bigger wins. The Wild replaces all symbols on the reels, except for the Switch, the Total Takeover, and the Mad Scientist scatters. It comes with a maximum payout of 50x the stake, so a full screen of Wilds will bring you a payout of 1,750x the stake.

The most important symbol in the game is the Switch. When it lands on a reel the Switch Spins are triggered. Here you can get anywhere from 1 to 10 respins. Selected symbols from the paytable are replaced with Wilds or one of the high-paying symbols. If you land another Switch during the feature more symbols will be replaced. The trick is to get as many Switch symbols as possible during the feature to end up with a full screen of Wilds. This is where the biggest payouts in the game can happen.
