How to Play Starlight Princess 1000

Starlight Princess 1000 is pretty simple to play. Before you do anything you first need to choose a bet size. It can range from $0.20 all the way up to $125 per spin. But this slot also offers an Ante Bet. When you activate it the minimum bet goes up to $0.25 per spin. The extra bet means that you will get a bigger number of scatters on the reels, increasing your chances to land a bonus round. In this game, I strongly recommend using the Ante Bet, as the returns in the bonus round are well worth the cost.

A Decade of Playing Slots

Over the years I’ve seen a big number of clone slots and I have to say most of the time they didn’t have the same appeal as the original. Most providers will just release a clone game, where everything is nearly the same, only the visuals are altered. But for Starlight Princess 1000, I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised. It’s great to see a clone game where the bonus feature is the same, but the payouts are increased. This makes the game worth playing and Starlight Princess 1000 is sure to attract a big number of players to its reels.

My Own Experience Playing Starlight Princess 1000

I discovered this game quite recently, and I still haven’t had a chance to test it out in real money play because the game is still pending release(1st August 2023) at the time of this writing. However, I have played the game many times in demo mode, and I can’t say I noticed any differences in the gameplay or the frequency of payouts from the original. I’ll try it in real play once I get a chance, and I hope to hit some pretty hefty payouts ;). I know that my e-wallet is in desperate need of some higher ones.

Bonus Features and Payouts

Like the original, Starlight Princess 1000 uses an All Symbols Pay design tumble feature. There are no paylines of ways to win on the reels, instead, you need to land at least 8 matching symbols anywhere on the screen to get a payout. Once you do all of the winning symbols are removed from the screen and new ones are added, thanks to the Tumble Feature. With this feature you can get many wins in a row, all for the price of a single paid spin.

During base play and in the free spins bonus players can land win multipliers across the reels. Their value can be x2, x3, x4, x5, x6, x8, x10, x12, x15, x20, x25, x50, x100, x250, x500 and a whopping x1,000. What’s even better is that you can land several multipliers per spin. If this happens their values are added together and the total multiplier is applied to the total win, once all winning tumbles are complete. This is why Starlight Princess 1000 can produce big wins even during base play.

Free Spins Bonus

The Scatter symbol in the game is the Starlight Princess herself. Once 4 or more of them hit the screen the free spins bonus is triggered. In return, you are awarded 15 free spins. If you manage to land another trio of scatters you will get an additional 5 free spins. During the feature, the Starlight Princess on the right side of the reels can wave her spear and award multipliers on the screen.

The multipliers that land with a winning tumble are added to the multiplier meter on the left side of the reels. Every time a new multiplier lands on the screen and it’s applied to a current win it’s added to the meter and the total multiplier is applied to the overall payout for that spin. This is why the multipliers can go very high. After that, you only need one decent winning spin to walk away with a huge payout.

Like in most other Pragmatic Play slots, the designers also added a Bonus Buy button. This allows you to instantly buy the feature for a price of 100x the stake. I usually don’t recommend using this feature, as you can lose a lot of money pretty fast. But for Starlight Princess 1000, you can give it a go if you have a bigger bankroll and hope for a big win in one of the features.

Comparison with Other slots

Well, the obvious choice to compare the game to are Gates of Olympus and Starlight Princess. You will find the same features there, but Starlight Princess 1000 has a lot more to offer in terms of payouts. I can’t imagine the feeling of landing a 1,000x multiplier or even a few of them on the screen. That would certainly be a sight for sore eyes.

Benefits and Drawbacks

The obvious benefit of Starlight Princess 1000 is the increased win multipliers and the increased maximum payout. This is certainly a detail that will bring more players to its reels. Why would you play the same game when you have a chance to win much more on this one? But I think that Starlight Princess 1000 will be even more volatile than the original, due to the increased maximum payout. It remains to be seen when I put this game to the test and see how fast it drains my bankroll.

Our Conclusion

Gates of Olympus and Starlight Princess were already some of my favorite games across Pragmatic Play casinos. So, having Starlight Princess 1000 as an additional option to try works in my favor. Now I can try all 3 games in a single session and hopefully at least one of them will pay big. The game is sure to attract a big number of players and I hope to see some big win videos very soon. I would like it, even more, to see a big win light up the reels on my screen.
