Review of Aseneskak Casino – Manitoba Casinos

Aseneskak Casino View

Being the only full-service casino in both The Pas and Opaskwayak, the Aseneskak casino had a lot to prove. This casino has hundreds of multi-denominational slot machines, plenty of poker and blackjack tables, as well as a huge variety of promotions, tournaments, and events that you don’t want to miss out on.

It’s a lovely smallish place that welcomes everybody into the Trapper’s Club – joining in will net you even more opportunities to cash in quick.

Casino Gaming Options:

Aseneskak casino used to be a small gambling den, but it recently received a considerable upgrade of 30 brand new slot machines. As of now, this casino has more than 150 slots and dozens of tables for classic card games such as Blackjack, Texas Hold’em, and Four Card Texas Hold’em. Custom games are available too, with the most notable one being the Let It Ride.

Aseneskak Casino Dress Code

You shouldn’t worry much about the dress core at Aseneskak casino as there is none. You are free, and actually even encouraged to wear whatever feels comfortable since most visitors check-in after hours and hours of driving (or flying).

As far as how you should behave, you should note that Aseneskak casino is a relatively small casino in comparison to modern Canadian and Albertan ones, so make yourself at home, but act the part too. Don’t try to smuggle in your own drinks or food; weapons are prohibited, and it wouldn’t be too polite to show up under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Food & Beverages

The Eagle’s Nest Restaurant and the Lounge are two dining places that Aseneskak casino houses. You’ll get to choose from a wide variety of appetizers, snacks, tortillas, chicken wings, salads, and grilled meat, but you’ll also get to relax with a cold drink after a harsh travelling journey.

Special Events/Promotions

The Aseneskak casino is famous for hosting various gaming-based promotions and almost completely neglecting events based on food discounts and similar trivialities gamblers don’t really care too much about.

Some of the most popular Aseneskak casino promotions as of late are the Power Buck$ Jackpot (which is currently over a million dollars), Back Betting on Blackjack tables, High Hand of the Week, and various Poker tournaments. In fact, every Wednesday and Saturday at roughly 6:30 PM you’ll get the chance to participate in local Texas Hold’Em tournaments.

Aseneskak Casino Membership Info

Every casino has a unique VIP loyalty program, and the Aseneskak casino has the Trapper’s Club. Although it’s neither loyalty nor a VIP program, the Trapper’s Club does offer similar benefits.

The most important thing about this Membership Club is that it’s completely free to join. You just need a government-issued photo and just a couple of minutes and your profile will be set up for good.

New members receive $10 free credit points for slot play, $20 extra credit points on birthdays, but there’s more; members of the Trapper’s Club can use the Casino’s own shuttle van for easy transportation across The Pas and qualify for exclusive draw-based events.

Members of The Trapper’s Club also receive 10% discount on every food purchase in the Eagle’s Nest Restaurant. The main point of this club is to allow players to earn redeemable points by gambling – the more you play, the more credits you will accumulate; the more credits you have, the more cash you will be able to redeem at the end of the day.

Accommodation & Transportation

The Aseneskak casino is not a hotel, so you’ll need to find another place to sleepover. Luckily, there are a couple of reliable hotels nearby; the Alouette Hotel (3.7/5 stars) is north, near Carley Bearing & Auto shop on the intersection between Crossley Ave and 2 St. E; alternatively, you could visit Pas Apts at the St. Antoine Street near Centennial Park.

As for the issue of transportation, we highly recommend that you fly instead of driving. The Grace Lake Airport is at the end of route 289, which will take you straight to The Pas and into Opaskwayak where the Aseneskak casino. If you are driving, all you need to do is stick to the Provincial Trunk Highway 10 and follow it through The Pas until you reach the Saskatchewan River. Cross the bridge and you’ll reach Gordon Lathlin Memorial Centre; the casino is a couple of miles further down the road.

Local Attractions

Although the only real attraction in Opaskwayak is the Aseneskak casino, crossing the bridge to The Pas will lead you to numerous tourist attractions.

The Pas’ Regional Library is quite small, but it’s a very friendly, old-fashioned place that people who like to feel a bit nostalgic should definitely visit. Apart from that, make sure to check out the Sam Waller Museum and the Clearwater Lake Provincial Park.

Nearby Casinos

Aseneskak casino is the only casino within a couple of hundreds of miles. Opaskwayak and The Pas sit atop a very remote, isolated location, so there aren’t a lot of places where you can gamble.

The closest place (although it’s still pretty far) is Edmonton to the west. Heading from Edmonton south will lead you to the Jackpot Casino and Century Downs Racetrack and Casino. Winnipeg is several hours’ worth of driving north where you can find the Club Regent Casino.

A Premier Casino Experience

Aseneskak casino is one of the best gambling halls in The Pas. Frequented by tourists and bikers alike, this casino has a friendly atmosphere, dozens of gaming options, and excellent food. Whether you are passing through or coming with intent to win some serious cash, you can rest assured knowing that Aseneskak casino will greet you with open arms.
